INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP ASSIGNMENTS

There are two parts to this assignment. Each team member must complete their specific task assignment and participate in a team project.

Part One: Each team member will do a four-page report based on the their specific task. This report should include pictures and/or illustrations that are related to the specific task.

Specific Task Instructions
Review each role with your team. Decide who will take each role.

HISTORIAN You are a historian. You have your PhD. in history and you are among the world's foremost specialists in the study of ancient civilizations. Your role in this project is extremely important. It is your job to find out as much as you can about ancient Egyptian Civilization, from the time of its beginnings through to its fall from power.
ARTIST YOU ARE AN EXPERT ON ANCIENT POTTERY. YOUR JOB IS TO SET UP A MUSEUM EXHIBIT THAT TELLS ABOUT THE ART WORK OF THE TIME.
ARCHITECT YOU ARE AN ARCHITECT AND YOU NEED TO HOW AND WHY THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS BUILD THEIR TEMPLES.
WORKER YOU ARE A LABOR ORGANIZER. YOU MUST FIND OUT WHAT ANCIENT EGYPTIANS DID FOR A LIVING AND HOW THEY DID IT. 


Part Two: Team members will combine each team member’s research and their pictures/illustrations to create a modern museum detailing information about life in ancient Egypt. Your team project will be presented in one of these two formats. 

(1) Make a Large Wall Mural
The mural should include pictures and illustrations that show each team members specific task. The mural should include text to describe the pictures and how it relates to the specific task of each team member. The mural should be at least 3 by 6 feet. In addition, the team members will create a short narrative introduction to their study of ancient Egyptian Life, which will be given during class presentations.
(2) Power Point Presentation
The Power Point Presentation should include pictures and illustrations that show each team members specific task. The Power Point Presentation should include text to describe the pictures and how it relates to the specific task of each team member. The Power Point Presentation should include at least 20 slides and some animation. In addition, the team members will create a short narrative introduction to their study of ancient Egyptian Life, which will be given during Power Point Presentation.
