| Introduction | Welcome to the teacher’s section! This section provides information regarding the WebQuest, the content standards it addresses, the process to complete the task, how students will be evaluated, and additional references and resources. Fairy tales can be found in many cultures. Cinderella can be found in hundreds of variations and set in cultures around the world. Cinderella has been told and retold in nearly every language. Although each story has its own unique story elements and offers insight into its culture, the similarities between them make it easy to compare and contrast character, plot, point of view and at times footwear throughout the stories. Students will have an opportunity to read different versions of Cinderella which will help them build skills in reading comprehension and responding to literature as well as learning to work in a cooperative group setting. |
