There are two parts to this WebQuest assignment. Each team member must complete their individual task role assignment and participate in a team project. Day One – An exploration of Cinderella Stories from Around the World: Your team needs to deicide on two different Cinderella stories to read. Day Two – Group Venn Diagram: After reading the stories, your team will use a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast the two stories. To help you organize the information, go to the following Web Site to print a Venn diagram. Click Here and Print your Venn Diagram Template
Day Three - Movie Production Team Roles: Once you have read your stories and completed your Venn Diagram, team members will decide which story they think would make a better movie. Each member must pick a specific role to perform. Will you be:
Review each role with your team. Decide who will take each role and complete required task; click the role titles to see the roles' assignments.
Day Four - Team Project: Combining each team member’s ideas from the Venn Diagram and using pictures/illustrations to create wall mural. Your team project will be presented in this format. Large Wall Mural: The mural should include pictures and illustrations. The mural should include text to describe the pictures and how it relates to the characters or setting of the Cinderella story. The mural should be at least 3 by 4 feet.
Also, the team members will create a short narrative about the story and why it would make a good movie, which will be given during class oral presentations to Mr. Spielberg. Day Five - The Oral Presentations: Display your wall mural and give your oral presentation about your favorite Cinderella story and why you thing Mr. Spielberg should use your version for his new movie. Remember, you are trying to convince Steven Spielberg to choose your story. Break a leg! Ready? Lights! Camera! Action!
